1997 Ford F-150 coil

I was needing to know how to check your coil to make sure that it is good. Because I am getting spark in all cylinders but when put on the scanner it says cylinder one not firing so please let me know. Thank you

If you have firs then you need to check spark plugs and wires
check fuel injector
do a compression test
