Changed thermostat & radiader cap engine heats up runds ok about 2 miles starts blowing cold air out heater temp gauge goes hot for a few minutes then cools back down. When this happens engine loses water out of resvory tank.

Replaced stat first because had same problem. Then replaced cap still same. Engine runs find, starts heating up normal, have heat, then heat goes away and engine temp goes to hot, then drops back to normal and have heat, engine is really hot when temp goes to hot and Ii lose fluids. This process recycles
