96 f-150 302 auto 100000+mi. Problem is- at 55 or more mph. Truck will sometimes quit running that is I watch the tach go to zero ck engine lt comes on, i`m coasting. One or two seconds later engine starts back up by itself, down the road I go. Vehicle has many new parts-pcm, ign mod, ign coil, plugs, cap, rotor. The last time it set a code P0320 ign\dist engine speed input circuit malfunction. It was at ford garage 4 days didn't do it for them. Anyone have any ideas?

Back from Ford garage in sept 16 out sept 25 replaced crank sensor/ign. Stator they told me it`s odd that this vehicle has both, that maybe this happened during the middle of the model year? All I know is it puzzled the hell out of me. She seems to be running ok but i`ve only had her back a few days, sure hope that it`s cured. Thank you for your interest. Please keep this info in memory bank may need it sometime.
