what does a ingintion switch rod look like for a 1996 for f-150 no tilt and no cruise

I don't have a picture of one. However, it is noting more than a steel rod that runs from the tumbler to the switch on the bottom of the steering column. I will keep looking for a picture.

Thanks for the help I have the steering wheel off and can see the rod having trouble getting it out any secerts on this.
