1995 Ford F-150 water pumps

1995 Ford F150 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 170k miles

how do I take off the nut that holds the pulley to the actujal water pump I have a tool that is supposed to lock down the pulley and a wrench that is supposed to turn the nut which way do I turn the nut? And how do I keep the tool from moving when iam turning the nut?

I belive what you are talking about is the fan to clutch nut?

Are you trying to remove the pulley? Fan? Fan clutch?

The fan is the only thing with one nut holding it on. The clutch is held on by for bolts.

theres you go. thats what i belive your trying to do? turn it counter clockwise.

have someone HOLD the tool while you crank on it.dont smack them though!
