I have just recently replaced the rear end in my 95 f150 but the rear end I used came out of an 88f150.Q. There is some kind of wiring deal that hooked up on my old rear end but there is no where to put it on the 88yr. Model rear end. You can see it has wires and on the end it looks like a metal ear off of a u-joint. Is this what changes my truck into overdrive.

They change things so often, it is hard to tell. We always recommend staying with direct replacement parts for this reason. To answer your question, no, that has nothing to do with overdrive.

Yea that makes a lot of sense I just got my vaccum lines and wiring replaced and 3 injector connectors. Damn rats. Reason it makes sense is because yesterday when I drove it it doesnt wanna change into gear right it overrevs and when it finally does the whole truck snatches.I thougt this was something to do with overdrive cause my overdrive button flashes now. So is there any suggestion to what I can do about gettin this sensor back right so my truck will change into gear right.
