I need to buy a front wheel spindle. When looking online at some used car part sites they wanted to know what ratio the axle was. One option was no ABS and another was with ABS, I have ABS so that's what I entered.

Is there a way to find out the gear ratio using VIN number or does anyone know what it is off the top of their head? Maybe a vehicle description would be helpful: 1995 Ford F 150 4x4 auto locking hubs with ABS.

Thanks

HI there,

Thank you for the donation,

Your Vin No is unique to your car it is stamped on the builders plate or on the body, the actual diff ratio will be stamped on the crown wheel & pinion, dose this car have a cover plate to see the crown wheel? I am not sure how many ratios were available for your car, your dealer should know this.
