1994 Ford F-150 Fuel Injected 5.0

Recently I purchased a Ford F-150 XLT, with a fuel injected 5.0 motor. The dealer said it was a mustang motor. How can I confirm this?
And how is this motor for hauling and pulling?

302w is the same engine used in a mustang witha 302w.

They are identicle engines, if anything you may gain more power with a mustang engine in it if it has a MAF sensor vs the trucks MAP sensor.
