1994 Ford F-150 Seat Belt Light

The seat belt light on the inst. Panel flashes on and off and the overdrive light on the shifter also flashes. I have check the fuse box and all seem to be o.K.

As far as the seat belt, there is a switch in the receiver. The wiring for it runs along side of the seat belt to the floor where it plugs into a harness. Make sure it is connected and not damaged or corroded.

As far as the trans, you need to have the computer scanned to determine where the problem is coming from. Many parts stores will scan if for free, but not all of them have a scanner that will read trans codes. Call ahead to make sure.
