Okay 1992 Ford F-150 2 wheel drive 302 Motor, Not sure what is going on when driving down the road the voltage gauge will be bouncing the voltage is reading anywhere between 11.6 to 14.4 volts while this goes on. When you turn the headlights on or hit the brake, roll the window up, the headlights dim dramatically for a moment but then return to normal.

The alternator may have 15000 on it and the belt about the same. Seems to be getting worse the longer it goes on. One guy mentioned may be the alternator but it does not do it all the time.

Does not make a difference with the weather. As far as the meter it is one of the ones that you plug into the cigarette lighter. Whenever it messes up it goes down to 11.4 or so up to 14.3 or there abouts.O and no on the A/C
