Aloha, My transmission is leaking from the dipstick area. Fluid livel is normal, but it starts to leak out from the dipstick when the engine starts to get hot. What must I do to fix this problem? Or is it a major repair?

Is it eaking from the top of the tube or where it goes into the trans?

Transmission fluid is leaking out from the top of the dipstick tube, where the dipstick enters the tube from the top.
I ran a wire up the vacumm tube, and there doesn't appear to be any blockage.

Are you sure the trans isn't over full? WHen trans fluid gets hot, it expands.
