Key will not turn in the ignition switch?

Key will not turn in the ignition switch (tried every which way, but to no avail). Switch was replaced at a shop a month ago and no problem until now. Presume I need to replace switch (rather not tow to a shop), but do not know the steps. Please help if you can.

Hello,

The part you put your key in called the lock cylinder. In order to replace the lock cylinder you will have to remove the steering wheel.
