1985 Ford F150 Trying to locate the fill plug on my trany

Transmission problem
1985 Ford F150 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Where is the fill plug located on the transmission? I drained it when i dropped it, but now i can't find a way to fill it. The chilton's manual says to remove the fill plug but does not give any indication as to its location.

I believe it is on the passanger side (center of trans)

Check there an let me know. Regardless, it right or left side, it will be aprox center in the trans.

Check under the hood you fill it where you check the fluid level.
