When I first start my truck an drive it does fine but when im stuck traffic for a long time the engine starts a rough idle up an down then it will turn off then I have to wait 5minutes for the truck to start again seems like when the engine is runnig cold everything works fine

Clean out your throttle body and check your IAC module. Also change your distributor cap, rotor, wires and plugs if not done recently.

You may also need a new fuel filter.
