Bought a negative cable from Advance Auto. I know it goes from the Neg side of battery and down to the engine block but this one has two extra wires that go out about 10 inches from the negative terminal. One has a blue cap and one has a yellow cap. What are these suppose to connect to?

They connect to the body with eylets. Usually right near the battery post. If yours didnt have em, leave them disconnected.

Mine does have ONE. Does it matter if I connect it to the yellow or Blue one? The guy I bought it from just spliced it into the negative cable.

Thanks for any Info
