My truck, which I recently got running, is having an issue with staying running when I shift it into gear. The truck will idle, all day if I wanted to. I have all new plugs, wires distributor, alternator, battery, fuel tank, fuel sending unit etc etc etc

the truck will fire up every time, and run all day but why will it not run when in reverse or drive? I can give it gas and then it will back up/forward but its a rough shift and I don't want to keep doing it as it will eventually damage my transmission. I was thinking a vacuum line but am unsure?
