Torsion bars can be adjusted. How much can the torsion bars be adjusted to give the vehicle a better ride in the front end. Also will adjusting the bars effect the front end alignment?

They are factory set for a reason. I've read they can be torqued to raise the vehicle an inch or two. I've also seen them brake afterwards if you decide to riase your vehicle that way be cognisennt to the fact they are more susptible to breakage and it can shock the crap out of you when they do break.
You should be able to buy bars with more tension
