2003 Ford Explorer soleniod control valve B

The odbll told me that the solenoid control valve B is my problem. The transmission stalls from 1st to 2nd gear. Is the solenoid control valve in the tranny or on the outside of the tranny. Thank You

There are five SSB codes possible from P0731 to P0735 which one did you get?

I show a P0755, no 775 will need to look into it further.

P0775 is for the pressure solinoids, not shift solinoids. You either have a weak pump, clogged screen, electrical failure of the wiring or solinoids. To test them you need an NGS tester for Fords, this can command different pressure for testing.I will send it to you, but may not help.

Ok Mr Merlin 2120, I gotta go p/u my daughter and wife and I will double check the code and make sure as soon as I get back let you know. I really appreciate what u r doing because ford acted as if they had no clue. Although, I do feel a little silly as I am a diesel mechanic.
