HI, our ABS light has been coming on for about three weeks now. When we start the car its off but as soon as we hit the brakes the light comes on and stays on. The brake fluid is full and the cuise control works ok. I do not have access to a scan tool. Is there a way to pull the codes with out a scan tool or how do I check to see if a wheel sensors is defective? Thanks jesse from whittier, ca

The only way to pull codes from the ABS system is by using a scan tool capable of ABS. Your regular OBD-II scanner is useless, unless it is capable of ABS.
