The "4x4 High" and "4x4 Low" lights flash 3 times every minuet or so. The "4x4 Auto" is currently selected.

There are no noises, or sluggish steering. I have searched everywhere to find a translations for these warning lights. I really don't want to go to a garage to find out $400 later that all I needed to do was change some fluids. Please help.

I'm not familiar with Explorers per se, but sounds like it's outputting some type of code, someone else on here knows more.

Someone said its a code for the Speed Sensor is bad. And that the auto 4x4 is not working which means its only useing 2 wheels. But I dont know how to fix this problem or even if it is the problem. So any more input from people might help. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe the dealer would charge 400 bucks to diagnose, at least pull whatever code or codes are flashing the light. Stay away from guesses as to what it is, you'll either hit the one-in-a-million correct one or spend needless dollars on the others. Try taking it to a parts store and have them scan your system, most all do it for free, see if they can come up with anything, if so get the code numbers
