2002 Ford Explorer Map light and mirror lights stay on

When the key is in the ignition and the vehicle is off and with all of the doors closed, the chime of ignition does not go off until you remove the keys. Also, after getting out of vehicle, the map light and passengers side mirror light stays on for a very long time.

Try this cure, buy a can of brakekleen and a can of spray white lithium grease, spray the latch area, thats the claw in the door where it closes, spray liberally with brakleen, open and close the door 5-6 times, repeat, then spray with the white lube, open and close the door 5-6 times. Reapeat on all doors.
