2002 Ford Explorer loud humming noise

Car sounds like I am constantly driving on rough, grooved cement. Thought it was the tires (which I needed) purchased new ones. Still had the noise problem. Noticed my right rear coil spring was cracked/severed, had that replaced. Still have the noise.

Just wondering what this could be.

May want to check Wheel Bearings. Look at what question I posted today "2002 Ford Explorer Wheel Bearing" see if this matches your vehicle's symptoms.

I had to get all four hubs/bearings replaced. $1400 total at the dealer. Called around for prices and believe it or not the dealer came in the cheapest.
