I took my explorer to illiana tire in paris il on monday and had them change the transmission filter and fluid. It is now thursday and since they changed the stuff. My rpm's go up but the vehicle does not wanna go anywhere sometimes then it kinda jerks then gets going.I had absolutely no problems till they messed with it what is going on. Did they screw something up?

Do you get a check engine light? Have you checked fluid level?

No I do not have any warning lites or anything on in my 02 explorer. It just started slipping after having a filter kit put in it by illiana tire.I did contact them and of course they deny that it's prob anything they did but they r gonna hook it up to a computer tom. And see what it says. Do you think maybe they didn't get the orings far enough on? To big of a coincidence that this is happening now

Does seem odd that after service trans slips. They may have knocked a soloniod connection loose.
