My odometer/trip mileage instrument is giving me a problem. You can usually only read the mileage at night. The light is very, very dim, however, on occasion, the odometer lights up like normal. I talked to a service manager at the Ford dealership and they told me that the only way to fix the problem was to change the entire instrument panel. They quoted me a price of $850.00 plus labor to fix the problem. Is there a light/LED that can be changed independently of the entire instrument panel?

Unfortunatly no, there isnt any serviceable light to change out. You can search around and find a better deal than that for a cluster though. There is a company in Fullerton, Ca that is an authorized rebuilder for clusters, I have used them many times. Their phone number is (714) 871-7357
