My service engine soon light was on and the next thing I knew my engine was shot. I put in a new engine and within 8 hours the service engine light is back on. Any ideas what might be going on?

Hello,

I suggest going by your local parts store and have them pull codes. Write them down and post them here.

Also, is it a new, remanufactured or a used engine?

THe engine is used and has 63,000 miles on it. Like I say, I have drove it for a total of 10 miles sense it was installed. Now the service engine soon is on. I probably should call the people who installed it. There might be a reason for it being on after the installation?

Yes, you should do that but I would also go by and have codes pulled that way you know somewhat of what is going on.
