I am trying to replace the ignition lock cylinder in my 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. I lost the keys and had to drill out the pin but the lock cylinder won't come out. What can I do to get it out? Thanks.

My advise is to seek a lock smith help as your going to need it even after removing and replacing the lock cylinder security system will prevented from starting Use a 3/16-inch diameter drill bit to drill out the lock cylinder retaining pin and remove the ignition switch lock cylinder. Discard the lock cylinder. Remove the drill shavings from the steering column
