2000 Ford Explorer pause when accelerating from stop

Sometimes it seems like there's a pause when you stop for a stop sign and then accelerate. Then it kicks in. It only seems to happen occasionaly. Sometimes it just doesn't seem to grab right away. It's just a little pause but a pause.

Check the fuel pressure and test the throttle position/MAP&MAF sensors then report back what you've done in regards to above components.
