Transmission problem
1999 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

The gear shift indicator is to the right of each number or letter. The transmission works properly in each position and there is no damage undernrath to the cable or transmission. How do I adjust the indicator?

There is a cable under the steering column cover that moves that when you shift. It will need adjusted.
