My temperature gauge is not working, it doesn't move up at all. My engine is not running hot. What should I check or replace and where is it?

It could be your temperature guage itself. Usually the most common cause is your ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor) needs to be replaced. Check the wires leading to it for damage, Also, check to make sure the electrical connector is tight and secure. The ECT sensor looks like this >>>>

Cost is $16.99 "good price" Most ECT sensors can be found on the intake manifold, near the water outlet housing. There will be 2 wires leading to it. >>>>Tip: You might want to apply a little teflon "Plumbers Tape" on the threads when you install it. Check out the images (below).
