1998 Ford Explorer Resetting rear caliper

I'm getting ready to replace the rear brake pads. Is the rear caliper reset by pushing in or is a special tool needed to screw it back in

Push in. Remove the brake fluid master cylinder cap before you push it back in. If any fluid leaks just add as needed.I use a c clamp for pushing it back in.I just put a piece of wood or anything strong on piston then c clamp it back in. Good luck
