1998 Ford Explorer Noise

When you are driving the truck for a while you hear a load humming sound. You press on the accelerator and it will stop for a while. The humming noise come and goes. Have taken it to several mechanics and can't find where the noise is coming from or why it hums.

When you hear the sound does it change when making turns? Are the tires worn evenly? Have all drive line fluids been checked?

I don't think it is any of those since there are times when the car is stationary and the humming noise comes on. Would an exhaust or air intake leak cause this?
