1997 Ford Explorer serpentine belt and ulley replacement

1997 Ford Explorer 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

1997 ford explorer eddie bauer with v6 sohc...the idler pulley unscrewed and my serpentine belt came off. i drove it for 2 miles without a belt. i have replaced the pulley and the belt but my question is this: do i face potential problems with the timing, cam shaft or internal engine parts because i drove it without a belt

It won't hurt anything unless you overheated the engine. Did it overheat and how bad if it did?
