1997 Ford Explorer O/D Off light

A couple of days ago my O/D light was flashing. You guys told me it could be a Transmission problem. But today the light was not flashing. I thought the light burned out, so I pushed the button and the O/D light came on. Should I still worry about the transmission?

I'm not sure who you spoke with. However, if it comes on and starts flashing again, take it to a trans shop and have them scan the computer for codes. The computer will identify where the problem is coming from.
