1996 Ford Explorer vacuum/whistling noise

I just purchased a 1996 ford explorer. It started to make a fairly loud vacuum/whistling sound. Upon further investigation it seems to be coming from the intake.

I actually had the same problem, I changed my air filter and never did it again *knock on wood* it happened more when I had my a/c on but after I changed the filter it was fine.
