I have a 1996 Explorer. We recently relaced the alternator and a belt about 3 months ago. I haven't had any problems since then until now. As I get into my car from going grocery shopping, the car wont start. It clicks, but nothing happens. At first the lights inside came on, then I had no power. I knew that it was my battery, so I got a jump. It started right up. It idled a little rough at first, but had not problems getting going. AS I pulled into my apartment complex, when I turned in, it shook so bad I thought I was going to bounce out of my seat! It is only shaking when I turn, even the slightest turn makes it grumble and shake. What could be causing this? Also, when it got jumped and started back up, it sounded like an airplane. A really loud whining noise coming from the engine area. I have noticed it before, but it always went away after a few seconds, this time it did not. I was not running the AC or playing the radio, so its not that. If anyone could please help lead me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Thank you for responding so quickly! Would the battery cause the shaking when I turn? Its about 2 years old, and still under warranty, I am having it replaced tomorrow though. The shaking just concerns me that it might be something really major.
Thanks Again!
