The O/D indicator light on the instrument panel is flashing. If I push the O/D button at the end of the shifter I can feel the over drive kick in (rpm's go up), however the indicator light stay on. Why is the O/D indicator light on the instrument panel flashing?

Thanks,
DZJ

The O/D indicator light is indicating a problem with the transmission. Check for trouble codes.

I just had this happen & after they checked for the Codes, it indicated none, then the light went out & I haven't had a problem since. The tranny tech said that it was just a fluke, been running for 3-wks now & no O/D-lite yet.
