When I shut the door on my 93 ford explore the in side light stays on it wont go off I was wondering what could be wrong with it?

Hello and thanks for the donation!

The door jamb switches will be what to check first. Try lubricating your door jambs including the rear hatch with WD40. One of the switches may be sticking.
