my engine does not match picture on website engine has serpitine belt does nut on front of pulley need to be removed?

Yes. Its roughly 1 1/2" in diameter. Leave the serp belt on, put the wrench on that nut, and hit it downwards, towards the passenger side. 3-5 hits should loosen it up for ya.

By diameter I meant use an 1 1/2" wrench. Sorry for the confusion.
