Where is the interia switch to turn off my fuel so I can change the fuel filter

You don't need to trip the IFS to change the filter! Get a rag, with the key OFF on the fuel rail find the schraeder valve, place the rag around it, and push the pin inward, the gas pressure will be relieved. Use a bucket under the filter to catch the gas runoff.

It's under the carpet on the front passenger side right under the heater core. Disconnect, then start truck until it quits, (about 2 seconds) Pressure is then off.

No doubt. I only answered for future viewers and hoping that if I contribute, someone will tell me why after replacing 2 sending units my gas gage doesn't work correctly. Can you shead some light on it? Please see my post under fuel guages. Thanks!
