1991 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my left front brake locked up on me and I tried tapping it to release it but it wont. How can I fix this

Can you remove the caliper? If it is too tight, loosten the bleeder to release pressure to the piston. Let me know if that helps you get it off. Also, let me know if you are able to depress the caliper piston.
