I have a King Ranch expedition and it is making a clicking sound at first when I made left turns, now when I am making right turns as well. Any idea what this is? Dangerous to drive until it gets fixed and is it typically an expensive fix? Bearing hub replacement?

This could be a hub issue but may also be an axle/halfshaft. Here are a couple guides that will help with this issue:

Does the noise get any better when you sway back and forth when driving down the road?

This is not unsafe to drive but is not something that I would put off. Plus they are not that expensive. The parts run a couple hundred dollars and then about an hour and a half labor to install them. Should be less then $500 to get it completed.

Below you will find the process from the manual on how to replace the hub.

Please run through this material and let us know if you have other questions. Thanks
