Noise isn't the problem. But? I removed the spring loaded cover on the thing where you plug in the lights when I pull a trailer. One side was cracked off and I rebuilt that with epoxy so it won't hang open. Is there a trick you know to put it back together so the spring tension is right and holds it closed. I am pretty crazy about wanting my truck to look good. Thanks for any suggestions! B

Hi:
Chances are the plastic is broken and can't be fixed. I recommend just replacing it. They are not expensive, and they are easy to replace. The new plug will identify what color goes to each connection (my wife loves to camp, so it seems like I'm always working on these. I would rather stay in a motel)

Let me know if you have trouble.

Joe
