No hot air just constant cold

I have a 1999 ford escort van 1800 (diesal) 106,000 mils. I have no hot air blowing in the van butt the fan is working, I have changed the stat but stil only cold air what else could it be?

I was having trouble with my heater blowing warm air when the car, itself, was actually getting gas to it. It turned out to be low water/coolant in the radiator. I would suggest simply adding more water/coolant to your radiator (I used 50/50 mixture). If this doesn't solve your problem, then I can't help you anymore!
