My car would run for the day. The next day I started the car it seems as if the battery is dead. My dad said the alternator was not working properly to recharge the battery, so he replaced it. But when he went to put the battery back on the battery made a huge spark and now no pwer at all is in the car. Not even a light will turn on. He thought a fuse might have blown, but unfortunately we cannot find out which fuse, if it even is that. Please help me out. What is wrong?

Sounds as though you tried to hook the battery or something up wrong. I would double check everything first. Then look under the hood there is a fuse box and the 80 amp fuse will be blown. Replace but make sure the spark problem is resolved first.

There was a main fuse that said 100amp and we replaced it, but still nothing. Is there any other fuses under the hood besides the box. Is it for sure a fuse?

Sounds like he tried to connect the (-) to the (+) on the battery and fried probably more than one fuse.
