1994 ford Escort - 148K miles- Sometimes I have to depress clutch 2-3 times before engine will start. Should I replace the clutch limit switch and where is it located?
Thanks!

It is adjustable and located in the top area of the clutch area. It is not a limit switch but a safety switch so it cannot be started in gear. Easy to replace if you are 3' tall and have 2" diameter arms.

Is the "clutch area" you mentioned near the top of the clutch pedal area or is the safety switch under the hood at the rear of the engine.
Thanks.
