Transmission problem
2002 Ford Escort 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Can this problem be caused by lack of transmission fluid? How do I replace or add transmission fluid?

Not shifting out of park
is not a tranny fluid issue
its most likely a brake light switch and or a shifter interlock solenoid

Ah, but it was a tranny fluid issue. There was NO TRANNY FLUID! I added 2 qts, problem solved.
