About a month ago, tried to start the car and the battery was dead. Jumped it. Next day, dead. Replaced the battery. Good for about two weeks. Last week, dead. Took in to the shop. Got new alternator, belt and pulley system and they recharged the battery. Two days ago, battery dead again. Took to where we bought the battery, they tested it and recharged it again. This morning, dead again. What could be draining the battery? No lights are being left on.

They claimed the battery is good. Did not need to be replaced, just recharged.

Hi there,

You need to get a current draw test done, this will show any excessive current being drawn with all systems turned off, start here.

Mark, mhpautos.

We took the car back to where we got the battery. They said it needed to be recharged, again. When we came back an hour later to get the car, and they said they had to replace the battery. So far so good. Knock on wood. It's okay.
