Engine Performance problem
2000 Ford Escort 4 cyl Automatic

while car is in idle it wants to go dead but hasnt yet, and acceleration is very sluggish whenever I start to drive and pick up speed. My check engine light came on also.

codes stored in PCM
need an OBDII reader to read and get the codes
most local part store can help getting you the codes
suspect engine need a tune up check for vacuum leaks
let me know what you have for codes
