1999 Ford Escort 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

So this is my problem! I have a Ford Escot ZX2 model and the Serpentine Belt broke! We replaced the serpentine belt with a new one! Now, the car doesn't start! I turned the ignition, but it just sounds like it wants to start, but it doesn't! We changed the spark plugs and the cables because where the spark plugs go where full of water! So I drained all the water and let it dry! I replaced the spark plugs and cables with brand new ones, but still it won't start! Do you think you can help me with my problem?

Well first there should not be water in the cylinders and the car would not start if the plugs are wet. So there is a posibility of cracked head or blown head gasket. So if the plugs got wet the first time they will get wet again.
