I put my car up on ramps and tried to drain some of the engine coolant from a little valve. After doing that and adding some water and coolant, I took it for about a 3 mile drive. I heard some chattering and when I pulled it back in the driveway, my "service engine soon" and "low oil pressure" lights came on. Could I have somehow clogged my oil pump when it was on ramps? I have no idea how this happened. Thanks. I promise I will donate if you guys help me fix this.

Hi lynworth and welcome to 2carpros

Scan the computer for OBD2 code/s and comeback with it-also check the oil level-is your coolant level in the full mark in the reservoir bottle when engine cools off if not fill it-could be overheating causing it to detonate the noise that you hearing

Nevermind.I believe it is a blown head gasket. I'm seeing vapor and oil from the exhaust.
